So hot here today. But the last of the bathroom tiling is getting done. The first new vanity is in. We are so close to having the new bathroom completed.
Very nice. Yeah it is miserable. I just got back from the nursery, needed more herbs like mint and stuff. It is just baking out there. However, cooking Dal tonight and will have it with some Asahi.

@jmoore I will utter these words: "Because that is the way we've always done it". I can't even explain the difficulty I have trying to get some people to even try a different solution for anything.
Same goes for printers. If someone has to walk more than 3 steps to get to a printer, they complain. It blows my mind how much gets printed and then shredded. Or, better yet - printed, then scanned to a file, and then shredded. I wish I were joking. Paperless is a bad word among the people I work with.
I could go on and on.....
I have the EXACT same issue. What a huge waste of time and money.
Emailed PDF, printed, then scanned to PDF, upload to DMS and then shredded. At least 2-3 cases of paper weekly.

So I helped my mother-in-law move today. This is a real thing that happened:
Pam: Hi I'm Pam. This is Ian and this is Laura. You can call us PIL (pronounced Pill)
<Ian and Laura die inside>
Movers: uh....ok
Mover #1: Hi I'm Andy
Pam: HI Andy. I'm, Pam. This is Ian and this is Laura.
Mover #2: Hi I'm Brian
Pam: Hi Brian. I'm Pam. This is Ian and this is Laura
8 hours of this behavior today. 8.
I am completely fucking dead inside. Going into a Zzzquil catatonic state that I hope I never wake up from. Hope your weekend is better than mine boys
Hi, PIL. I'm Darryl, this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl.

Hahaha, your mother in-law, look what you have to look forward to in the future (I'm assuming it was your mother in-law or MIL that came up with PIL?)

I wish zereotier had an easier way to access hosts, like a desktop app or similar so you didn't have to open your browser, go to zerotier.com, log in, scroll down, locate the host you want, get it's IP address, start mstsc.exe bang in the IP and log in.
Or maybe I just need to become more organsied?

zerotier-cli listpeers -OR- zerotier-cli peers
But it doesn’t show the the name or description of those peers. Or just keep a spreadsheet of those peers.

You have to do that manually? I need to do more auto-update instructions I guess.

Ha! I've just never got around to setting up auto-updates (yes, I know it's easy for dnf). What I'd like to do is see what folks use for patch management for Linux systems other than just auto-update.

Besides auto-update. I'm guessing Ansilbe and SALT off the top of my head. Any of the management framworks should be able to manage updates.

Ansible is the next thing I'm diving into now that RHCSA is done.
