Just had lunch with dad. Doing a Windows 2008 to Fedora 30 file server migration, now.
Is this a LANless environment?
No, but it will be someday. This stage is removing Active Directory and moving from Windows to Linux. They should be LANless and always should have been, as two of their three sites can't reach the LAN. But the former IT guys weren't up to par and this is the least of the issues. So we've been doing a forklift to get them to "safety", but expect to be LANless this year. This is the last "LAN-centric" workload that they have after this weekend.
Moving to NC for file storage then? If not, then what?
I'm curious to see how the users react to web access or sync based access to files compared to SMB shares.

Just moved a company from Intermedia's Exchange to Zoho Mail.
That's an interesting move.
Why Zoho, what was the main deal maker?$12/user/month for an older style product with problems and poor support, to $1/user/month for a more modern stylistic product with, so far, zero problems.
92% cost reduction, with more features in the cheaper product!
Yeah - tons of those old hosted Exchange solutions out there charging ass-loads of money, especially compared to the prices of O365.

Get to hand off the shackle (on-call cell phone) today.
More time for making music, eh?
Yeah, and I need it this week. Going to try to knock out the final project for my class.

one of my restaurants how the following quote as their wall paper:
Taco Fact #18 Tacos are healthier than crystal meth
I'd have to agree with that logic.
Happy Monday. -

Is there a way to force the nextcloud sync client to overwrite a file?
Example: You have a file named IMG001.jpg and it has synced. You replace that with a new file with the same name. It seems that it will create a copy instead of overwriting. -

-
@dafyre Yes, and it is adding extra characters to the filenames. Strange for sure.

Is it completely syncing before you replace it?
