I can just imagine what Atlanta would be like if you actually got snow. Would be entertaining to watch for someone who lives in a section of Lake Erie snow belt.
Oh dude, it's totally fucked when we get an inch of flurries. If you could be here for that 48 hours of "winter", you'd die laughing.
2002-2004 I was an over the road truck driver, I got to watch that one year, it was hilarious. Had a cop put his lights on behind me, got on the CB with them. Was like, look, people, I'm from NE Ohio, this is the funniest overreaction to a nothing event I've ever seen. Now if you want to talk about 3 feet of snow, then I'll consider pulling this rig over.
My favorite thing was flying around a cop in the ditch on his right (snowpocalypse 2014) in 4WD, going 40-50 mph. Cop looked up concerned, but quickly went "yeah, that dude is in control / that dude is going too fast for me to chase". I got home in 2.5 hours (20 min drive) along a path where others spent the night in their cars.

Blown away right now.... listening to Glowsun, a French metal band.... someone told me it was like listening to me play the guitar (tone, style, everything)... and it totally is. It's kinda freaking me out how much it sounds like me playing.

apparently to get a meeting to discuss how you're doing you have to mess up and miss a phone call..think that's kind of ridiculous..
Well now you know what to do next time you need to talk to your boss about something.
... though that may not be a good idea if you're wanting to talk about a raise.
I've been trying to get a review for a while now.
Have asked 5/6 times in the last 6 months for a review so I could ask about a raise.
and its been ignored, or the boss people were too busy.
now they aren't.as you can tell this frustrates me because of the effort I've put into everything i've done here, and to try to see where I can improve.
Then stop waiting for a review - and do your own review and present it to them along with your request for a raise.

Yep. I asked my financial guy what they're talking about with regards to the Superannuation changes & removing franking credits etc, that Labour want to make. On last nights Debate, Morrison must have been speaking about something else coz it sounded like nothing my financial guy told me about.
I'm sure they all just fumble about. Going to be interesting to see what we're left with on the 19th. -

And I just bought a smart watch to make sure I wake up for the calls if/when they come in over night.
