@Dashrender that doesnt sound bad...
My diet is pretty rigid right now
Pre workout - 1/2 banana
post workout - Postwork out drink1 hr later - 4 eggs, two 6" tortillas, 1 ounce cheese
3 hr later - 1.25 cups cottage cheese, 1 cup berries
3 hr later - 6 ounce very lean protein, 6 ounce potato, 1 cup vegetables, .5 tbsps butter (real)
3 hr later - 9 triscuits, 4 tbsp guacamole, 4 oz very lean protein
3 hr later (dinner) - 2/3 cup rice, 6 oz lean protein, 1 cup veg, .5tbsps butter (real)
This ends up being a huge amount of food, and eating this frequently is very challenging with my job - only because since I'm rarely hungry, it's easy for the food to just sit there while I am working...
Looks good, but why so much cheese in the beginning? Cheese like that every day isn't great. Is it for the protein? How about a bunch of cashews and avocado or something instead?
This was made by my dietian for this week. It might change week to week, I just started.

I am curious as to what makes @Obsolesce such an expert every time any of these conversations come up.

Just dropped of my 9yo for her coding class.

I'm also curious as to why a DIETIAN recommends cheese, white rice and potatoes rather than better proven and studied alternatives like sweet potatoes, nuts, avocado, etc. Maybe he can ask?

She says she is. It was only class 2. We are supposed to get credentials in email this week on how to access her project form home so she can work on it.

So you are better source of what was proven and studied than someone in the field?
Could you be? Of course. We see it all the time in IT.
But you claim things like this all of the time.

That doesn't mean the information is wrong. It's not, unless that research has suddenly turned around, but that isn't possible due to the nature of it.

I didn't talk to him, so it could be because he's allergic to nuts, for example, or for a number of other reasons. But my advice was in general or recommended if possible.

Actually that's backwards. So little is known about medicine, health, and diet that there is extremely little science in it and what people often think are facts often turn out to be old wives tales. There is actually extremely little that we actually know.
-
Goal achieved: client (Outlook) connected to Zimbra via IMAP. Amazing what happens when you finally stop overlooking opening TCP 993 on the VM's firewall.

Agreed - if there isn't money to be made - who's going to bother with the research. This is why good health, preemptive health is something very few actually care about.

Yeah baby yeah! Banana Bread
It’s been awhile since I made these. -

It's hard to argue with results, studies, and the science of it presently... I was referring to white rice and potatoes, and cheese, specifically. We already know the results of this, and they are conclusive. Do you feel it's possible scientists will suddenly say "Yes, we were totally wrong about white rice... gobble that shit up as much as you can! You'll live a longer and healthier life!"?
