Wondering how Adobe is still in business when they make it so hard to actually buy anything.
Lol, subscription. What has been hard?
I have no idea how or why this was setup the way it was, but we apparently have to renew every year. We got the notice this morning. Our current license/subscription is good till the 5th, takes up to 5 days to renew. They have no place to actually complete a transaction to get that done on the management interface. Also, they are all out of the office till Jan. 3rd.
I've got some choice words for Adobe this morning, and I'm not allowed to use them here!

Definitely today, I have been yelling a Windows and Microsoft office many times! I do not like Windows at the moment...

Ha, that was me the previous Friday. Tried to install Office 2019 from the volume licensing center for the first time. You have to use the Office Installation Toolkit now. Really, why? (Besides the obvious pushing people to use only Office365 now.)

I just updated my OpenVPN AS server to 2.6.0.1. Then pushed the updated client via PDQ deploy to all systems that were on the network today. I also have a software installer GPO when people boot up while on the wifi.
Now I have to interview a potential candidate for the Jr IT Sys admin position.

just had to do a frantic hard drive swap on my laptop to my little brothers laptop because mine took a crap - power supply port I am thinking decided to stop working.
and My brother wasn't using his, and told me I could take it back.
Up and going on the laptop now, Man oh man, I was stressing. So on to other news, Back on call starting at 5:00 pm tonight,
Also looking for suggestions on Laptops that are out there, any suggestions on what to get? Let's say I have a budget of about $300 is the most I would like to spend, Will spend more if I see it necessary .

True. So far I've walked into situations that already had some kind of backup planned and running. Next task in my lab is figure out what to do if I was tasked with "We have X things, design a system to backup our X things."

It is a Chromebook for that is okay, anything else is not worth it.

Specific requirements will change things, but basically all you need to do is make sure a copy of the data exists and you can recover from it. Any backup software will do that.

I haven't messed with Chromebooks, What is the general Consensus?
I probably will just take my SSD from my current laptop and put it in the new one when i get it and keep the other one was a back up -
