Yep. Re-wrote my resume and change it from the bad advice of 1 page or less and it's now about 3 or 4 pages. Suddenly a lot more are calling me back.

For many professionals now, a single page just will not cut it. If the HR or Hiring manager knows what they are looking for, they can filter down to the key details they are looking for. In so cases, the resume is sent through an OCR and made searchable. This allows them the ability to key in on what they need / want and ignore the scrub.This is from dealing with the local Manager at a Manpower office,.. There is still the adage of if you have white space, fill it.

Trying to get enough strength to shower and go to bed. Just got home from the hospital after being there all day. And it's 10:30pm now.

Worked today at Staples and have been home being lazy since 6:30pm or so. Going to bed soon.

Thanks, been a rough day. My mom has cancer and they were doing surgery today to remove it.
