x2go might just be the best thing ever.
What's your use case for it?
For now, just seeing how it works. I RDP into our Windows servers, and I was curious to see what's available for having similar functionality to a Linux host that has a GUI.

My only complaint abotu X2Go is that I am unaware of any good mobile device clients for it. That's why I use xrdp.

We're only getting down to 35f tonight, so we're going to layer up and drink whiskey. We got boned on the last Leonids... Friggin' clouds.

I've been using vnc viewer on Android and Windows.

VNC has always been painfully slow to me. It's been a couple of years since I've tried it, though.

What impressed me with x2go is that it's over SSH, so traffic isn't in the clear.

It also makes connecting REALLY simple. And proxying, as well.

Danmit. I thought I ordered a Surface Pro 3 type cover, but this is a Pro 4 cover.
Used off eBay.
Does any one know if it should work on a Pro 3? I know the form factor is different, but I expected it to work and it doens't.

As far as I know the Surface 4 can be used on Surface 3 so I suspect i can be used on 4 but might be less features.

Well, no buttons work so damnit, a dud from eBay. Seller has return policy like most, just annoyed.
just annoying to deal with a return. -

The smog in Utah might make it difficult to see the shower.

Don't use a Linux GUI? SSH works wonders.

I don't use a GUI for Linux servers. This was a Fedora workstation I setup as a VM.
