Spiceworks down for anyone else? The site is "up" but it shows me as logged out. If I log in, it says that it works, but goes right back to having me logged out.
-
was on there a few minutes ago with no issues posting.

Just refreshed, there's a banner that says "community update now live", so that's probably what's broken.

In the middle of the day... again.

@scottalanmiller it's 3:30am in India...

@scottalanmiller It is not down, you need to clear all your cache and then login again
https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2083089-community-update-now-live-nov-6-2017?page=1&source=navbar-community-notifications#entry-7353722I had the same issue.

Community Update now live [Nov 6, 2017]

SPICEWORKS
SPICEWORKS COMMUNITY SUPPORTHey all, this is basically part two of last week's test (although now it isn't a test). The quick version is we have changed the language backend our servers are running on. It just finished fully deploying so if you see any out of the ordinary errors, please let us know!
Update: If you are attempting to post but it looks like it is hanging, two things: (1) check the topic, the post is actually probably there. (2) Try to post (something else, of course) but in a private / incognito session. If that works properly, it is recommended you clear your temp cache and any cookies for Spiceworks.
Because the middle of the day is the best time to do update your back end.

@travisdh1 I believe @RojoLoco has noted this before how it did not make sense to do it in the middle of the day

It's like no one has ever worked in tech, IT or business before and has no idea how normal companies do this stuff. So weird.

You have read stuff on that site, right? Did you think anyone there has those qualifications?

I had a meeting with their new COO about some of this stuff. I guess the info that I shared didn't take, though. He's been there for two months now, these issues are squarely on him to oversee at this point.

Cleared cache, now instead of failing, it doesn't even try to log in

That was hours ago. Banner jsut so people know it happened.

This is the first that I have tried to use the site since that time, though. So might be related.

Porn mode all the things.

Here is what I do:
- go to your localhost file
- Have anything pointing to *.spiceworks.com point to manglassi.it
- Profit!
