It just occurred to me that "closed sourcers" are the IT world equivalent to "flat earthers."
This is a really good way to think about it now that you mention it.

Yeah, once it hit me I was like "oh snap, that's exactly what it is like."
-
I really say things like "oh snap" in my head.

I use other words in my head, which don't get filtered out as they pass through my mouth.

Kids wanted to do that tonight, only because they wanted Smores.
Talked them into tomorrow since it is the actual holiday. Also, I did not feel like setting up a fire.

Waiting for the kids to get up, they wanted to go for a walk through the neighborhood today.

Whew... Family kept me busy all weekend. Wedding, post-wedding revelry, and killing bugs at my house. What fun!
Edit: Killing bugs at my house. Bugs, not buts!

Trying to get in the right mood to answer tickets. I have had my broken ankle for only four days now and I am already stir crazy. I can't do like I normally do. I am really frustrated and grumpy. I don't want to deal with stupid users today.

Broken ankle - Ouch.. What did the user do to you that you kicked them that hard!?!
Ugh - Other than that... Monday's are the worst when there are TWO of them. What is the limit of Advil an adult can safely take in a 24 hour period... pretty sure I really want to exceed it by twice.. hurting pretty good today. No real idea why.

I'm wondering why someone would ask this question . . . . "What happens if we don't activate windows server 2012?"

You have to wonder why someone would ask that? They are cheap and don't want to pay for it.
