      Blah. Home sick today.

      That sucks. Just a cold?

Sadly no. Whatever this 24 hour bug going around is. My whole body aches.

@gjacobse Same problem as the ones in the picture - if you want to get any real current out of them (high amps) you need to reinforce those little pins. Good call though.

Just met one of the brewers from Omaha Brewing (GA) and tried their new milk stout. So dark and tasty.

You should respond, "Good Job [MSP] that is indeed how a SIP Trunk traverses a network. Do you want a gold star or a lollipop?"

So are they showing a private line to the ISP? Why is ISP in that weird box?

Because they had ME doing the graphics? (Seriously, have you seen my slides from MangoCon?)

Because they didn't know how to type "ISP" in another cloud graphic?

the graphic is downright confusing. Somehow your normal network gets directly to the internet, but your SIP has to go to an ISP.. lol

Right, I get if the phone system is bypassing the firewall and headed out to the internet. they didn't want to deal with configuring any firewall rules etc.

But to drop another ISP icon there.....

I think they are suggesting that only ISPs are able to trunk to the PSTN... which is blatantly false and often (always?) the exact opposite of what you want to do.

This I don't understand. SIP Trunks are pretty easy to configure for the firewall.

yeah, I'm not really involved in this office at all (or any business decisions) my boss is. So I honestly have no clue could care less what the actual documentation is saying. Because if I am not involved in the decisions, then I won't fix their mistakes.

Just a bunch of IP address for the voip phones.
