My American VPN went down briefly and my wife was like "I was watching orange is the new black on netflix and it stopped" and so I had to figure out what was going on. Only the most important tasks first around here.

Well... One advantage to working at a state run college... We get days off when the city water goes down.

Republic Wireless is changing their plan structure. So debating again if I should continue with Republic or move to Project Fi.

We actually tried using Fedora when we changed over to Linux here at first, but keeping up with the twice a year distribution upgrades got to be a pain. Just couldn't keep up with the distro upgrades, compared to running an ssh script that does the updates automatically.

Mint for the desktops. Always used CentOS for the services.

Ah that makes sense, Mint is a really good desktop distro.

I looked but didnt see something that was designed for IT work really. Do you have an example link?

@wirestyle22 oh no, I don't have any examples, but what do you really need on it, a screw driver and a knife right?

I have this SOG multi tool. It has been a great, well made, dependable tool. But I haven't used it for any IT stuff really.

You just just use a tool box full of stuff I guess like me. I wanted something useful for IT work specifically that I can just grab and run with for side jobs. Maybe it doesn't exist
