BTW this clone is bipping along at 40MBps and dropping. (USB3.)

Wondering is that is normal. That is what I am currently doing. 🙂

Maybe you are getting to slower parts of the drives or you have eaten up some of the cache?

It's a USB stick writing to a SSD. Still entirely possibly a caching issue though.

I just hope it doesn't go belly up.

Maybe it's tired. It IS Thursday after all.

I know the feeling, and I have to drive the family to Utica tonight yet. And we've not even thought about what we are going to do for dinner.

Soup (or cereal) is always the go-to in our house in those scenarios.

That's not really that horrible of a number. USB sticks don't tend to be all that fast.

Holy cow, it came back up with no problems.

I'll test the clone some other day. Time to get home for some leftover dinner!

My next test will be to purposely hose my test machine. If I can bring a crashed XS back without much difficulty, it will definitely have my undying love.

Just did a daily question - and I'm intrigued to see what everyone else thinks/would choose:

"You are starting a company and, instead of going the traditional route and hosting your web server in-house, you have decided to build and test your web application in a cloud environment. What kind of cloud service would best meet your needs?
                                            -SaaS
                                            -DaaS
                                            -PaaS
                                            -IaaS"

                                            🙂
