I've got 4 weeks to upgrade 100 PCs to Windows 10.. I really need to spend less time here.
That's not too bad. Imaging is your friend.

Do you have to import all of the user files to these reimages machines?

files?
My documents and favorites are redirected to a network share. Company policy says that they aren't allowed to keep any files local - but you know how that goes. I'll backup the things on their desktop to their my docs directory and restore it on the otherside, otherwise no, I'm not backing up anything from the PC.

Finally have internet. Arizona Dessert, Utah and Colorado Mountains and plains of Kansas does not make for good internet access. But it does make for some really amazing pics (well except Kansas).
How you all doing this morning?

Not feeling well, if not for huge projects with fairly tight deadlines, I wouldn't be here.

Wondering is there a single backup solution that will work with XenServer & ESXi

Sure, any guest level agent.

Anything that is agent based would probably work.

Any agent based solution should.
Doh - already said.

Any agent based solution should.
What about restoring to a new host if it's agent based? i.e. If the server dies?
I want to do a full image backup of a Linux server and restore to say a new server?

As was said, agent based is the only option that is totally cross platform. Unitrends WILL support both but is two products under the hood. Check with @KatieUnitrends for info on what they offer for handling both.

All traditional restores are agent based, so while it is not necessarily the best option, it is pretty powerful. In both cases, you need special support for restoring to disparate hardware (or platforms) so it's not the "one is great and the other is not" that you might be thinking.

StorageCraft does an agent based imaging system by using a special block driver.
