What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Sitting on a mac...with really slow performance...trying to edit a video.
Wishing I had my desktop right now
-
I just realized that Amazon Cloud Drive will store raw files as images, that's awesome!
-
Just noticed that Citrix in their XenApp and XenDesktop documentation recommends NFS storage whenever possible as well (over block storage like iSCSI and FC.)
-
Just set-up the wireless Extender for the AR Drone, now searching for battery mods to power the AP outside and see if i can enable WPA on the Drone.

So I'm digging Atom. It's nice that it doesn't pop up every other save and ask you to pay like Sublime does.
I still find myself doing most things in Vim though.

I love Atom. Been using it for about two years now.

What add ons do you recommend?

I normally just use the vanilla package

Just finished 2 hours of billing and tax stuff for January.

This place is very quiet, even for a Monday morning. Where is everyone?
-
Happy Monday everyone!
-
Well - I wonder if we will be closed tomorrow considering the weather.

About seventy here. Sun is bright, windows and doors are open. This is gorgeous.

We'll be in the mid 50s today in Ohio. We've had one amazingly mild winter (so far) here.
Taking a minute to say hello on a Monday morning between reading log files. Block lists only grew by 2 over the weekend, less bad actors over the weekend than normal.
All around, looking like a much better Monday morning than normal.

Woop think I've cracked the FOG Server issues. Got it working on Ubuntu 14.04, got issues with the Images and where they are being stored, not sure if it a bug or I need to edit something.

It's been a while, but if I remember right you can change where it stores them.
-
That must be editable. Where is it storing them now and what is the problem caused by that?

Seems when I take an image of the "gold" machine it's naming the folder containing the image as the MAC address and also putting it in the dev folder.
When I go to deploy it looks for the name of the image and in the /images folder.

Had a quite nice weekend with the family. I've been reading like a mad dog over the last week or so, so I haven't been at my computer much outside of work.
I just finished "The Songmaker" trilogy by Elizabeth Baxter. It was an excellent read. It's more fantasy, so be warned! I also just started reading the first three "Secrets of the Imortal Nicholas Flammel" book series too. I'm on the second book in that trilogy.
We went to an Aviation Museum this weekend -- they had a Winter Wonderlandtype thing, which essentially a mini-carnival at the museum. It was a lot of fun though. I can't wait to get the kid back to the museum again.
