That's cool. I'll look into that. Right now I have a new gaming rig that is just starting to download its first games so I have very little to use right at the moment.
You got an Asus ROG, didn't you? I'm hoping it's a good machine for you!

I did and so far it is awesome. The video game capabilities that I have tested so far are great. The keyboard is awesome. The build seems good. It's Windows 10 and has crashed a few times and the Intel portions are flaky as with all things Intel - but other than those things it has been great so far.

Waiting to go home to process the last 24hrs! Today has been a hard one in work.

I bet. Although having the break from "processing" might be good, too.

Monday Day 3: still alive. Exchange beast has slain my friends and family. I struggle on through a wilderness of dark and foreboding errors, ever vigilant to keep the mail flowing.

Sounds like it is time to look at moving Email offsite if at all possible. 3 days in the wilderness can do crazy things to a person.

My rule would be... if the company decided to be reckless and have email in house, then outages are their problem and I don't work overtime or special hours or give up free time to make up for that reckless planning. Microsoft would probably host that email for free. If they want to torture you and waste benefactor funds, tough.

@scottalanmiller I hate space heaters... all of the women in the office have one here, they run them everyday. Lucky this hasn't happened yet

They are fundamentally a bad idea. Very expensive to operate and relatively dangerous.

When I worked for Digital Computers the facilities manager was nice and brought me in a space heater one day (older than dirt one I might add). It caught fire and when I tried to unplug it from the wall (plug directly behind the space heater), my hair touched it and caught on fire. Went to work with long hair came home with chin length hair. After that there was a memo no SPACE HEATERS!!

Wishing I worked somewhere that I didn't want to kill myself...

Where you work has been making us a bit unhappy too.

If there's ever a sign you need to work on your resume and get outta there......

@scottalanmiller Oh, I am sure a lot of people feel that way. But until I do find a new job, or the winning lotto ticket so I can focus on finally opening my game store, I have to deal with it and not say anything negative about them. Or at least not with any proper nouns.

So I think I can do everything I normally do on my Chromebook between ChromeOS and Linux. Now what do I do with my other laptops? haha

I know you feel strongly about many things, but that is something you won't be able to convince the women in my office to stop doing.
