What Are You Doing Right Now

All I understand about it is that I'm strictly low voltage and we hire a guy to install 3-phase stuff.
Damn rights man, me too. I leave the mains wiring to a fully qualified sparky.

I try to stay as far away from an electrical panel as possible... I don't even like to do my own work at home.Thankfully I have an electrician friend who enjoys an alcoholic beverage after the work is done.

Time to go home for me.
Have a great night all -
Apparently I'm ruining people's enjoyments of blue lava from volcanoes, lol.
-
I ran three phase power from my main breakbox into my garage. I now have a 60 AMP 220 volt mini box in my garage - Power.... I have Ultimate POWER!!!

Finished season 1 of True Detective last night, I guess it's fitting that I have my IT Detective hat on today trying to figure out why a NAS has started powering itself off midway through the same robocopy job I've been running on it for about a year now.
The butler did it!
The butler must have caused the internal fan on the NAS to fail so it overheats and powers itself off midway through any intense disk operation, like a big robocopy job... It's the perfect crime!

Internet just went down here but the power is still on. First time this has happened in Granada. Still have 3G at least. No idea how long this might last.

My electronics instructor told us, you can tell how the (main supply) panel was jumpered by the number of (12") tiles a person got thrown back....
He was awesome.. And,... those were the days of learning about magic smoke.

That sounds all too familiar... I never drank coffee until I got an office job, when the idea of free caffeine at 8am became irresistable.
Now I drink coffee by day and mountain dew when I get home/at lunch...

I actually just picked up one of these travel mugs to try and switch over to tea for most of the time.

Looks like we might have to move away from bitlocker, I would like to stay on it but the rest of my engineering team wants to move to a paid product that has more management of keys (even though you can store the bitlocker PDFs as well as store it in AD DS).
