Sadly I dont' think that we have sausage sizzles in the US (or in Nicaragua.)
Well, if you do end up making it to Australia, we have plenty to go 'round
-
That's a disturbing thought. Welcome to Australia, it's a Down Under Sausage Fest.

I just discovered that there is a site dedicated to posting the location of election day sausage sizzles, aptly labelled as the Democracy Sausage.
Ā
THAT'S SOOOOO FREAKING COOL!
I can have a sausage sizzle while voting for the parliamentary cupcake of my choosing. Bring on the next election!Politicians hand out sausage during elections where you live? I don't think I would eat it...
That's fine, I'll have yours.
I'm pretty sure that the pollies are too busy spruiking themselves and sprouting their party crazy jibber-jabber to man the sausage sizzle stand -

I believe that Germany has sausage fests (that are the wurst ). We have no such celebrations. Most of the time a sausage sizzle is to raise money for a charity or local volunteer organisation like the bush fire brigade or volunteer Ambo's or the local footy club.
If you want to sizzle your sausage, there are a few beaches here where you can do that. Just leave off the sun screen

@johnhooks That's ok. I have lots of life altering movies... such as the Princess Bride, and Spaceballs (I just got the DVD for this one, lol)... among others.
I really need to move the Princess Bride to the top of our watch list. My wife has never seen it.
Mrs. nadnerB despises that movie. I don't mind it but Space Balls is much better IMO.

Out on foot getting pizza for the family from Pizza Vale. Such good pizza.

For driving home so I'm asking Siri anything I randomly think of

Apparently Siri gets pissy if you call it Cortana:
-
I doubt that it's true but I don't have a device to try it on.
-
Went out and got pizza for dinner for the family. Ate dinner watching The Nanny. Now the kids are running around our bedroom like nutters.

Trying to stay warm in Western New York, it's 41 degrees outside... @Minion-Queen are you cold enough yet?
-
41 this morning? I hadn't noticed really when I stepped out this morning.
I'm in Central Upstate NY near MQ as well.
-
I am freezing!!! At least I get to go out for Dibella's subs for lunch with @DustinB3403!

Send me some snow please

It's not that cold yet... But we usually see our first snow around October 31st. So it is coming I'm afraid I really hate snow. I do not enjoy being cold at all.

It looked/felt like it would snow this morning when I was out but you're right, hopefully it won't come until at least the beginning of November.

That's awesome. I used to want to do that and have thought about doing that with Liesl who I think would really like it.
I can be fun and interesting. I have made a few contacts over the years, I'm not heavily active.
Couple of things I've done which I thought were 'neat and cool'- connected to MIR before it came down. no confirmed connection.
- 'leaped' from station to station and went around the globe to send a message to someone
- listened to the International Space Station as it passed over head
- made a contact that was about 4,000 miles away on 5 watts.

Ditto! Though snow itself I don't mind.

My Gramps was heavily active on the HAM radio waves until he got cancer at 80-something years old. He worked during the first Gulf War, and a bit during the second one. His call sign was W4BKK if you ever happened to chat with him, lol. My Pops got the call sign after grampa passed away, so we can keep it in the family, lol.
After I get my ears turned on later this month, I gotta brush up on my Morse Code.
