@DustinB3403 the OS on this laptop is Windows 8. I thought it would run the 64 bit with no problem..
That is a question about the hardware, not the OS. Windows 8 needs to be 64bit in order to virtualize 64bits on top of it, but the hardware must also support 64bit virtualization. In some cases, you have to go into the laptop BIOS and enable that feature as it is often off by default.

@scottalanmiller Im under 10 minutes away from the Linux Mint 18- 32 Bit being completely downloaded. should this one would?
Or would you recommend I dig for the 64 bit in the BIOS and make sure its activated? -

Or would you recommend I dig for the 64 bit in the BIOS and make sure its activated? You can confirm if you're running a 64-bit os by going to start > right clicking computer > properties
In this window it will list what OS version and Bit version you have on your laptop there. If you are running 64-Bit Windows, then the issue lies with VirtualBox.
Unless you have virtualization disabled in BIOS. in which case, you'd have to enable this.

I just got the 32 bit Linux running on my VirtualBoxIt's installed already? That doesn't seem possible. Are you sure that you didn't just boot up the ISO and not do the install yet? It's a LiveCD (runs without installing.) Look on the desktop, there should be an icon that says "Install."
