Solved First Time Installing Linux on VirtualBox Problems

Or would you recommend I dig for the 64 bit in the BIOS and make sure its activated?You can confirm if you're running a 64-bit os by going to start > right clicking computer > properties
In this window it will list what OS version and Bit version you have on your laptop there. If you are running 64-Bit Windows, then the issue lies with VirtualBox.
Unless you have virtualization disabled in BIOS. in which case, you'd have to enable this.

Or would you recommend I dig for the 64 bit in the BIOS and make sure its activated?32bit isn't a problem for the small laptop that you have. Getting the BIOS issue addressed is separate and will help with the performance of it running regardless of which version you run.

I just got the 32 bit Linux running on my VirtualBoxIt's installed already? That doesn't seem possible. Are you sure that you didn't just boot up the ISO and not do the install yet? It's a LiveCD (runs without installing.) Look on the desktop, there should be an icon that says "Install."
