Only if it was intentional. If you really think about it, how is it different than hitting someone else accidentally?

That's for the courts to decide. Same as with any case. If you hit a friend and he gets insurance and you do it together intentionally, that's insurance fraud just the same. That it is the same person doesn't seem to add any factors that don't exist in any case of this nature.

Under my parent's insurance, yes.... oh... Then Pops could have sued me instead, lol.
Edit: I was under my parents' insurance when I was a kid.
