Windows Taskbar notifcation for windows 10 upgrade

This seems to mean that they will be pre-loading windows 10 so everyone gets it at the same time.
Also, it seems July might not be so crazy after all, at least for the desktop.

At the office I use WSUS with an Open License Key - so I'm guessing I won't get those notices... I wonder how, or even if, I can get my machines upgraded legally?

Tell them to check online for updates? I'll be migrating a lot of OEM installs this fall and was wondering this a bit also as I have WSUS setup on the domains.

I think you'll have little issue with OEM keys, but my machines using an Open License has me wondering, will I have to reinstall them all using the OEM to get the upgrade 'conversion' then convert back to the Open License version of Windows 10? I use the Open License key though the rights allowed by MS to use KMS on OEM machines as long as the version is the same.

Maybe it has something to do with Webroot's commitment to supporting XP until 2020?

It's just that you can't have an AV installed during the upgrade. Nothing weird here.

Yeah, this is a normal install warning. I found it funny.
Specific to that topic though, webroot locks down changes to some things (like the hosts file) they may actually cause issues with an upgrade.

I think I'll be able to upgrade my tablet right away, Adobe software should work on windows 10. However I'm not so sure about my desktop. Avid Media Composer is known for not liking new OSes.
