CloudPro

@scottalanmiller What is your secret? Which eyes / toes/ fingers are you crossing? Or does Jupiter have to be at a perfect 90 degree angle to Saturn?
Any other planetary alignments necessary? I've let both of my attempts run for several hours with nothing at all happening.

I'm yet to up/down/side-grade to cloud poo(?) oh, oops. Pro, CloudPro.
So let me get this straight, you get your entire VPS nuked when you move to the service. You have to back up your own stuff but it's almost impossible to back up a C@C instance (offsite)... IF, you can connect to it.
Am I correct with any of ^that?
What backup software/strategy are you lot using? -

Well, I've up/down/crossgraded to CloudPro...
Installation is... pending -

CloudAtCost 2015
It's been 30 minutes.
What is the above mentioned average based on? If it's based on the consumption of Bourbon and Cola or Jager Bombs by monkeys, I'd understand but... actually, no I wouldn't. Why are there drunken monkeys involved in this? -

What backup software/strategy are you lot using?None. Just lost everything. That CloudatCost initiated this killing off of the VMs prior to coming up with a backup strategy shows just how much they have no idea how to do this.

Awesome, they also nuked my FreePBX system I had running.. yeah!! (NOT!)
-
OK this is weird.. I have a personal account and an office account. They nuked my office account, but my personal one is still working.

They nuked it... completely?

I'm giving this service one more chance before I write it off... I deleted the VM and started another install on the new CloudPro service at 10:28AM (EST).
This will be my 3rd attempt since Friday.
-
Good luck! FWIW, I've had one pending since 3:45 yesterday afternoon and another for the past hour.

I'm speaking to them and the answer is that they aren't aware of people having issues.

Par for the course.

Tell them to pull their head out of their ass and learn how to monitor their own systems!

That would require being concerned that things are not working.

Gah, dont know if I should keep my box and hope everything will improve, (and end up with a box for who knows...10 years?) or just pull a paypal refund and call it a day.

Well, things have only gotten worse so far so.....
Here is the thing, even if things improve, which all signs point to it not happening, you both need the service to improve AND the company to survive and nothing suggests that that will happen. They have no business model under which they make money. They are cutting corners like crazy because they have to to even start to make this work. They've burned years of good faith and no one is going to trust them now. They got their "second chance" and did even worse than the first time around.
I'll be amazed if they make it to the end of the year. If their parent company is still around in ten years will be amazing.

@dafyre I've tried 11 times since Saturday, and none of them have successfully built.
