Google announces four new Chromebooks and the Chromestick.

      • Asus Chromebit -- Coming this summer for under $100, the tiny HDMI stick Chromebit plugs into your TV's HDMI port, turning the TV into a Chrome OS computer.
      • Asus Chromebook C201 -- The C201 has an 11.6-inch display and a battery said to last up to 13 hours. It ships for $169 in May.
      • Asus Chromebook Flip -- At $249, this most affordable of touchscreen Chromebooks features a 10.1-inch IPS flip display that rotates 360 degrees to look like a tablet. It ships this Spring.
      • Haier Chromebook 11 -- Available for pre-order for $149 at Amazon, the Haier Chromebook has an 11.6-inch display and a 10-hour battery. An 11e model focuses on the educational market.
      • Hisense Chromebook -- The $149 Hisense Chromebook is similar to the Haier model, but is slightly heavier at 3.3 pounds with an 8.5-hour battery, and can be found at Walmart instead of Amazon.

For some reason I just don't like things like the flip, devices like the flip just never seemed to work well for me for a long period of time.

We have the Lenovo Yoga 2 which is a flip. We've had it for seven months, I think. Know how many times we flip it? Never. Haven't even tested that functionality. It's never come up as something we would want to do.

I just bought a new Dell Inspiron for one of our part time workers that has a flip capability. I doubt she will ever use it that way.
