FWIW, the link for Markdown syntax take you here, which appears to be out dated.
This one seems to be more current:

Thanks!

Just noticed the new quick link to the bottom of threads on the iPhone view.
Awesome!

@JaredBusch do you mean the 'replied 2 minutes ago' portion?

Yes. Previously on an iPhone, that text was not there. There was no way to jump to the bottom of a thread in that view.

Yeah I noticed that text last week on my Windows Phone and Android - It definitely makes ML usable now on mobile devices.
Frankly I'm not sure how Scott dealt with it for long threads for so long.

Is there a Sort By button on iOS Safari?

It was horrible.

getting tired of seeing this if I leave the page open for hours.

It's caused by the site actually restarting. I'm doing heavy user deletions and for some reason something is causing the site to restart during certain delete operations. It's not caused by you leaving it open, it only indicates that the site itself has restarted (but it doesn't mean that it has updated.) You should not have seen it for weeks now, I don't think. But right now, it keeps coming up because I am culling the old spam accounts from that week when we had the spam bot problem. We want to know how many REAL users we have.
-
Pretty small numbers, as there are nearly 5,000 spam bot accounts (but not a single one posting, thankfully) but I've managed to eliminate 300-400 of them so far.
