Running some basic tasks -
Image PC, Update, Join Domain, install final apps.
Swap battery from one model to another (same battery type/size)
General Monday stuff on a monday.We picked up six inches of snow Friday night / Saturday morning. It's all but gone now,.. really was late yesterday.
Also wondering where everyone is at today.. nearly noon and all I have seen are crickets...

A little coffee while on the phone all morning.
Thought that I would have a nice relaxing morning. Instead I have been trapped on teh phone all morning.

New user setup - laptop, Plugable triple monitor docking station, 2x Samsung 22" monitors.
One or more monitors won't wake after the PC goes to sleep.
Googling shows several other people have the same problem with other model Samsung monitors.
a few possible fixes
Change BIOS to S3/S4/S5 til fixed
change monitor to not auto detect signal
change cableWe'll see if any of this fixes it.

On site wondering what is going on with Ubiquiti APs. Devices had only been able to communicate with internet and other devices connected to the AP on the same network. Started working properly a few minutes ago, no rhyme or reason why the change. At least it's working now, and I was here when it started working.

Like some office staff - they saw the boss coming and got back to working like they should.. But that's a pain.

I haven't kept track of it of course,.. but it seems that the winds here have increased over the years. We have seen stronger winds more often - enough that instead of solar I have thought about a VAWT - not that the HOA would allow that any more than solar.
VAWT? Vertical Axis Wind Turbine; they are pretty neat in operation and build.

Dominica's parents' house is a couple blocks from a VAWT factory. Been making VAWTs there for a decade or more.
