Re: Voicemail to Microsoft 365 email

Well, the issue is back and I am guessing it has to do with Microsoft requiring TLS now and not allowing anonymous sending of emails.

I'd move everything to Teams if we could justify the cost.

Anyone that works with FreePBX have a solution?

FreePBX uses postfix and that does everything needed to talk directly to office 365. If your system is not working you don’t have something configured correctly. I’ll look at your previous thread in a bit.

      Here is the screenshot:

You have use TLS set to no.

I made that change also, now there are no emails in the queue but nothing is showing up on the test emails I sent to myself. Here is the current debug log:

@wls-itguy what are you using for authentication? I can't imagine you just have open relay allowed on your O365 account.

It is a standard option in O365. I use it all the time.

That's how it was set up before. The only thing I saw that was different was the port 587 and the TLS. Those have been added, what am I still missing that emails are not getting to end users?

You are trying to send through an external SMTP host with NO authentication. Use the built in SMTP instead.

yeah - JB just (&(^ me for the same comment - claiming he does it all the time - but what he meant was - that JB uses IP auth all the time.

Is the OP using IP auth in O365?

Go signup for a SMTP service already. What's your time worth?

                    https://mail.baby - It's $1/month + $0.20/Mouth for 1000 sends.

$20 will likely last you a whole year - if not more...

He already has two services. One built in and one with Office 365. A third one might have whatever the same issue is.

not allowing anonymous sending of emails.

Isn't your current setting set to anonymous?

                          One option:
Change it to come from an account with Exchange Online Plan 1 or better. Using their credentials (assuming an account without forced 2FA.

                            Option 2:
Use the built in and use a connector that is IP auth'd
