Makes me think of the classic blade chassis, and while they worked they weren't really efficient with a low end backplane...

Meh, waste of time. Not enough juice. Needs better ARM cpus and better ethernet.

It's got quite a lot of juice. The RP4 is surprisingly powerful.

One case I can think of as if you were running a 3-D printer farm. Although you might be able to run more than one printer off of one pie if you were not also running a camera.
