$68 on Amazon is not an unofficial quotation from the authorized online shop, I suggest to buy from an authorized online shop, we only provide support and service to the authorized online shop.How does one find an authorized shop?

We are giving an online certificate to authorized resellers, and ask them to post the logo on their shops, and we will also list authorized online resellers on Fanvil website soon.That's not really a viable mechanism. Why would Fanvil not support any customer? Unless you manage to talk to every possible customer and explain that you don't support your products from certain channels, they have no way to know until it is too late. And as there is no authorized resellers yet, doesn't that mean that there is no support whatsoever?

@scottalanmiller
it's related to MAP, the price you find from Amazon is not from Fanvil MAP, we are trying to manage online price. And we have authorized resellers, and we are asking them to post MAP, not a lower price, hope you understand and get my points -

That's a problem on the Fanvil side, withholding support from your customers to punish them for having gotten a good price from the prominent resellers is a huge afront and completely unacceptable.
Also, price controlling isn't a good thing. Why would you want to ensure customers do not get a good price? This makes no sense. High cost, no support... what am I missing?
-
@scottalanmiller
see, you misunderstand my point, we support service to customers and partners if they use Fanvil IP Phone, meanwhile, we will suggest our authorized reseller or distributor to them, so they can get better support from the distributor or authorized resellers. -

But how do distributors or authorized resellers provide better service? The only factor that matters is the price, or delivery options. It's not a product where the distributor can provide some benefit.

This statement conflicts with what you said later.

Fanvil MAP (minimum advertised price) policy

Fanvil Authorized Online Reseller Program
http://fanvil.com/Partners/overview.htmlThat page gets you their reseller listings.
Unauthorized: http://fanvil.com/Partners/unauthroizedresellerlist.html
Authorized makes you do a search by full name of the reseller WTF

@JaredBusch yeah, I tried the authorized search and got nothing.
I did a Google search and couldn't find any reasonable purchase option.

Fanvil Support seems to only be here: http://fanvil.com/Support/ticket.html

http://fanvil.com/Partners/aboutmap.html"Fanvil further expects all resellers to take the time to learn about and properly promote its products, so resellers can properly serve their customers."
That sounds nice, but that just makes the price go up but doesn't add value. It would be way, way better to just post the specs on the website. You can't trust advice from a reseller.

That seems okay. Only need so much support.

email I guess, or call their chinese number.
So I have no issue with Chinese companies. I use the fuck out of Yealink after all.
But Fanvil seems to want to be in the channel partner zone only. But if that is the case they need to get partners to push their stuff, and make it easy to find channel partners.

Voipsupply lists Fanvil https://www.voipsupply.com/manufacturer/fanvil

This is the sense that I'm getting as well. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy their phones except from Amazon, and that's discouraged. @Jason-Liu said that they would direct me to a distributor, but I can't use a distributor, because I'm not a reseller. The whole system seems broken.

and we will also list authorized online resellers on Fanvil website soon.
In @Jason-Liu's now deleted post, this quoted bit will at least help. They plan to provide a list.
