US F-16 fighter jet crashes into California warehouse
An F-16 fighter jet has crashed into a warehouse near a base outside Los Angeles, leaving the pilot and workers on the ground with minor injuries.
The pilot ejected before impact, and the small fire that broke out was quickly suppressed by the building's sprinkler system.

Someone in my FB feed yesterday posted a video from their cellphone of the aftermath yesterday... I was waiting to hear more news about it.

That has no basis in fact. A random warehouse worker is highly unlikely to have any idea if there was live ordinance on the plane.

USAF won't state otherwise, that's as much admission as there is. That eye witness says there is live ordinance and there is no denial, that's as "confirmed live ordinance" as there can be. Is it the same as the USAF confirming it? No. Is the USAF a trustworthy source however? Not in the least.

Yeah this is unfounded, one worker said that he thought there may have been live ordinances.
What is more surprising if the fuel didn't ignite and explode.

Tell me, how exactly is this random person supposed to know that shit was live or not?
Nope. people are fucking stupid in general. I will not accept this type of statement without any kind of proof.

Yeah this is unfounded,
NBC News reports that there were ordinances and hazmat had to respond because of it. So anyone on the ground would have a really good chance of knowing. Hard to hide the response team, and you can't really stop emergency services from discussing it.

"The jet was carrying ordinance, which prompted a hazardous materials response."

Hazmat would have been there anyway

Of course, fuel and all. But they specifically stated that hazmat had to be called for ordinances. Just repeating what was said. That what the news reported is wrong is just speculation. Eye witness reports and news reports both say that there were ordinances. We all know that witnesses and the news can be wrong, but at some point, we have to accept that all accounts agree and there is no reasonable grounds for doubting the people who are there. At a distance, it's idle speculation to think that the accounts at the site were false.
Once we go down that path, all news is fake and the entire point of news no longer exists. It's not like there is conflicting news in this case.

I'm agreeing with you. I promise you that when they were dispatched, possible ordinance would be included in the notes and the crews that deal with that would try to be 1st on scene.

Yeah, they would have to tell them what was there. And I'd expect them to warn people "we have X exposure risk" so people would know. In theory anyone anywhere near the scene would have to know. And if you didn't know, that would imply that whatever it was was so bad that they were hiding it.

Now this is something that i believe. They guy posting pics to FB right after it crashed? no.
