Playing Apex Soon after dinner.
I am incredible at FPS games typically and I am absolutely terrible at Apex. I can't get used to the way you shoot in it
Same here, the Havoc you need to keep the Trigger hold so it keeps shooting while the devotion or R-301 also have that, I don't like the sniper guns because you do very little damage.
Good to know. I pocked around the first sector last night. Can't wait to find a shipyard to get out of the starter ship. It is good for getting around, but that's about it.
Don't go to the big supply ship, there is always people trying to loot there and you won't last more than a minute. It is a gamble. The Spitffire is another great gun in the game and Hemlok too.
Hrm, I think we're talking about two different games here. X4 Foundations by Egosoft?
yes, two different games. I am talking about Apex Legends by EA.

Looking forward to X4:Foundations tonight. First station building in this latest one. Always exciting, and also always such a disaster building your first complex.

I recently gave up on keeping a decent desktop for gaming and got a ps4pro instead. The only thing I keep to there is never buying games that are more expensive than $20.
Got a bunch of battlefield editions and diablo 3 in there, so far so good. I like good cinematic shooters once in a while.

@dyasny If you like Diablo 3, check out Path of Exile. They just released the PS4 version. I've been playing the computer version for about 6 months and loving it. It's significantly more complex, but the Diablo type games have always been my absolute favorite

I actually prefer stuff with less hacknslash and more quest, like Sacred/Sacred2 and Divinity. But shooters are what I use to relax after work, when there is time

Exactly, for me the best games feel like I'm watching an interactive movie. You'll never catch me in an online game exactly because of that.

Sierra! I got the entire series years later and clicked my way through it all using a dos emulator. The first ones were black and white iirc

What really got me hooked was the Tex Murphy series. Gumshoe dramedy with a kind of screwup antagonist.

Finished Sekiro. Hard game. A few of the bosses took 20+ attempts.
