What do you mean by shared web hosting?
Do you want a service like SquareSpace or a Vultr type service that you can setup your own webserver on?
That's not what shared hosting means.

A2 has been solid for me. They have Let's Encrypt built in now also.
I don't use HostGator or BlueHost, but I hear their names often.

A Small Orange was decent. We used them before switching to hosting out own.

I have used JustHost, Hostgator and for Wordpress SiteGround.

They do web hosting?

@scottalanmiller ehh sorry not thinking this morning. Let me rephrase that. I use them when I need a virtual server to make a site or some other task. However, they use to have wordpress templates and a bunch of other stuff like that so it basically functioned as one.

https://www.hostmantis.com/ has been good.
