@pete-s "Bob's your uncle". . . Huh?
Currently googling what this means.
I did that too, I've never heard that before:
From what I found it's a common phrase in the UK that means "and there you have it"

Yeah, there you have it.
But what are the odds Bob is really someone's uncle?

Yeah, there you have it.
Honestly going to start saying this every chance I get and see how many people I can confuse.

Having just done an IP scheme change a month or so ago, I'm A DHCP Reservations believer. Made the process so simple.
Out of curiosity, was a Windows Server handling DHCP for the network?
Yes it was

The odds are 100% if he has a camera.

So this topic has dived into the deep end of a pool filled* with things that no one cares about. ..
Edit: Typo fix.

Why would this matter? I've done the same thing with Windows DHCP and with router DHCP. Both are fairly trivial.Just watch the details. Like anything.
I was told that upgrading Windows Servers, DHCP reservations don't transfer. Of course it should be quick and easy to redo the reservations. Just one of those little annoyances.

Umm, like anything, you export your config and import it on the new server.
