I saw it discussed on a thread not long ago, and can't seem to find it now, where someone was having issues installing the Desktop Experience of Windows Server Semi-Annual Channel. Just saw this article published over the weekend stating that the Semi-Annual Channel will in fact no longer include the Desktop Experience as an option, only the Core since that's their recommended version/edition. The Desktop Experience will still continue on the LTSC.... for now.

Hopefully everyone is using DNF Automatic and/or keeping their systems up to date. This was fixed in May 2018.

Lol, not that way. I think he is moving into writing and more specific work. But his blog was and is amazing for Exchange and Office 365.

I seen they are changing the look of the Office Suite... at least the ribbon/bar. I can't find the link atm, but I think it'll be much better now, at least IMO.

@obsolesce Not really changes to the ribbon, they are actually moving back to menus.

Interesting. I wonder if it was because people were losing too much real estate on smaller screens, like the 2-in-1s.

Microsoft Teams is now free: https://www.windowscentral.com/microsoft-teams-now-available-use-free. I haven't used it, so I don't know how good it is, but if nothing else it will push Slack to innovate.

Our customer service team is just starting to use it. They seem to like it, but it's only been a week.

We have it, but I have no need to use it. It's just using memory on my system. The interface is weird at a minimum and the program is just clunky.

More likely it was a big selling point of competitors that they didn't use the ribbon that so many people disliked.

But quite a few other applications followed suit to make their apps look similar. Off the top of my head, Nitro PDF was one.
