We asked for a site to have a leased line. Was told there was no free capacity on the Exchange/Cab, and BT wanted just over £100K to install!!!!
We said no we an't paying for the Upgrade to give everyone Fibre !!!! you do it and we will sign up under normal conditions

Yeah it's funny how much BT used to charge for leased lines a few years ago for businesses, they have dropped down a lot thankfully now.

Crazy, the top grossing country in the world and your government is not even investing in it's infrastructure...you could probably pay for it tenfold if you didn't spend as much on your military lol..

I don't get why NASA is doing climate science. We have NOAA for that. It is essentially a duplication/division of effort.
If they worked in tandem with each other with defined scope, roles, and responsibilities, then I would see that being the best. NASA be in charge of getting the stuff into space. NOAA will take care of the satellite and reporting back. Heck. Cut NASA out and just contract with Space-X to get it up there. NASA is just the facilitator.

Because they don’t generally do the same research, and what NASA does is passed to the rest of the science community.
