There will be even less applications available here than through the Windows Store for x86, which is a wasteland of malware.

Actually it is a wasteland of usable apps, it's a thriving jungle of malware.

Windows arm pc = linux arm pc. Wipe and reinstall. I don't see other uses in the near future.

Which current Windows Store apps currently have malware?

What are some of the actual benefits of this? ... Drawbacks?

Benefit is lower power consumption and lower hardware costs. ARM procs are a better power/perf ration than AMD64 chips and are perfectly suited for the majority of desktop and especially laptop tasks. They also make it easier to make fanless and other speciality systems.

Downsides are less absolute power and a smaller ecosystem of binary packages available.

Do you have the malware scan results that show it as malware?

In reality, I believe that the Windows Store itself is a form of malware. It is undesirable, hostile software that attempts to convince you to install still more extensive hostile software.

Scan results are not needed to determine that it is malware. It's software pretending to be something other than it is. That's malicious. Therefore malware.

Google Play Store is not pushed onto my desktop or forced to be integrated into my menu, though.
