Very interesting, but I think we're firm on getting an all-steel french press.
I have a Chemex and it's the best cup of coffee I've ever had. Just fyi
The biggest deal breaker with those is that it needs a filter, and uses a paper filter (wood based). The second is that it's glass. Glass just doesn't last long in my house, lol.
The filters are actually really awesome, but yeah I can't do anything about glass lol
We use a lot of stainless steel. Such as Kid Kanteen for my 5-year old and bottles for the now 1-year old, and other metal containers. Trying to stay away from the plastics/chemicals.

Replaced my unifi AP at home for a Asus AC router. Get better wifi coverage but think it's due to bad unifi AP placement but as we rent don't want to be sticking holes in the ceiling lol.

Trying to keep the house warm here in Texas. Heat pump has frozen over, so we are on aux now.

29 and dropping, freezing rain. House has zero supplies so we have to make a grocery run.

Using a connected thermosatat would let you turn things on when it gets cold and you are not home.
Would prevent those issues.

Didn’t they have some huge security flaw a year plus ago? I didn’t hear if they fixed it or not?

I think I need to re-insulate my exterior walls.
The entire house gets a bit chilly.
But specifically to my office, it is a 5' x 12' space in my garage that I walled off. It is all insulated, but there is no heat here except for that little space heater.

Mid-70s here today. Just got over a slight heatwave ^_^
Was going to go to the beach today, but found out it's the last day we can use our Legoland membership this year. So Legoland today, maybe beach tomorrow.
Because of the big high-pressure system here, there's no snow in sight for the high elevations. So we may go to the sand dunes to go sledding sometime soon.
