Sodium Agent Support Matrix

Spoke too soon, 2008 R2 scanning is working!
-
Before calling it a night, we get to announce that Windows 2012 is fully working. Both for the agent install and for the monitoring and scanning!
-
Our last systems of the night have reported in. We now have Zorin 12.1 with a clean agent install using the DEB Generic installer. Scanning is not 100% because we have the same application enumeration issue that we have with Deepin. But we are very close and likely the issue is the same.
-
And more importantly, we have full agent install and scanning with Windows Server 2008. The only caveat here is that the .NET Framework 4.0 installation has to be done prior to attempting the install of Sodium.
-
Matrix is filled out and up to date.
-
We are now able to add ElementaryOS to the matrix! Agent install is clean, but we have the same application enumeration problem as with several other Ubuntu-derived distros. Hopefully they can all be fixed together. Install is done using the "DEB Generic" installer.

What dependencies does the agent have? Just for us curious types who will install it anywhere.

Mostly Python 2.7, where do you want to install it?

I've got a blank XS6.5 I can try it on. Should be doable. Time to break out the XS ninja skills.

Use the RPM installer first, might "just work."

Please do NOT try it on Hyper-V. For reasons.
-
Obviously works on KVM. We have it working a lot of places there.
-
Yes please avoid Hyper-V for now.

Well now this would just confuse me all to heck.

What's wrong with Hyper-V and Sodium?
-
Do you still want me to install it on my Vista machine?

Yes please!

Honestly I'm not sure that there is any longer. I'm looking into this. I may have misdiagnosed this one previously.

With this is there anyway to have the system check for .NET Framework 4.0 before proceeding? If it's not present it throws a prompt stating it's a required component and must be installed, click here to download it.
