Is it for edge only devices then?
No, but those are the only devices I own.
It is not for UniFi.
-
Logs are the UNMS logs, not the router logs.
-
A full description for anyone following the thread.
-
Statistics is what I will likely use the most.
-
Backups will be the most important thing. Just hopefully not used much!
-
Not sure what it thinks it pulled for admin account and read only account.
-
Maintenance is only to reboot.
-
Not sure why the device view shows a firmware upgrade when the current firmware was jsut installed.
-
Looks like it has its own firmware listing which is a different version than what was installed from command line.
This is what I just installed from the command line: ER-e100.v1.9.7.5001798.tar

While not feature rich, UNMS has some support inside the UMobile Android App as well

@JaredBusch That is really cool. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I can't wait until they flesh out the rest of it.

I like the Edge Routers and switches. I like the Unifi Wireless points. I do not like the USG. So I have to have the UNMS and an Unifi Controller. I wish they would bring these under the same umbrella. Jared does the UNMS work with the tough switches?

Why should these be under the same thing? They are different solutions.

@jaredbusch
Did you run your UNMS on the same system you had your UBNT WiFI controller? or did you build a new instance? -

I get that. It just adds to the list of interfaces I have to deal with. If you could somehow link your UNMS and your Unifi Controller so you can easily swap between the two without having to log into more than one page.

Awesome - I do recall seeing your mention of Debian 9.1 - Looking forward to it.
