      Doesn't seem to be, usually less than 3 sockets means 2 Sockets 🙂

        I actually can run my entire infrastructure on 1 socket (with 10 cores).

        But this(seems to be) is special pricing for 1 server environments, which would cover most SMBs.

            @dbeato it is still pricey for 1 server, but could be justified since they will support the whole xen stack.

                Actually 3x 1 socket is a common scenario now.

                            I have/had 2 in production with 4 cores. I wonder if you could double the payment and be covered in a 2 host scenario
