Well this is fake obviously. but the idea of microwave charging (like microwaves not the appliance in your kitchen) is not. The windows phone had some of the first wireless charging. I had a Nokia Lumia 920 I could wirelessly charge. It just uses an induction circuit. so it has to be right on top of the base unit though.

Part of me hopes this will take off like the "iOS 6 makes it waterproof" advertisement that went around Facebook. It'd be unfortunate, but...
@thecreativeone91 doesn't the microwave charging work, in layman's theory, like an induction stove but we're making small amounts of electricity not tons of heat?

@MattKing Yep, similar technology. The stove uses induction with an electromagnet with a moving field to generate heat though.
