My Late 2011 MBP is finally having one too many issues for me to depend on as a daily driver. I want to buy the Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 or maybe the Lattitude 3000 series 2-in-1 (basically the Lattitude version of the Inspiron) for a work laptop.

I want to continue running Korora Cinnamon if possible.

Has any one tried this on newer Dell's? I have installed Korora 25 on and older Lattitude when testing the OS out back in April, but never on a newer device.

I am seriously tempted to, but like you, I am an iOS user. One of the big things I do is import the images from my iOS device, and until I can do that I don't want to 'orphan' Windows.

Not to mention I still use iTunes for backups.

That said, I have an extra TB drive (previous ACER 2n1) I have to find (again) to make sure I have the data off of it, then I can swap drives and drop Korora on it...

Maybe I'll look for it now. Korora should be interesting since my 2n1 has a touch screen.

I'd stay away from the consumer grade Dells. (inspirons and such)

You'll want to stick to Latitudes (or even the XPS) for business.

Korora 25 Cinnamon runs flawlessly on my Latitude E6440. Not a single issue.

About 98% of the time I agree with that statement. And maybe it's just *MY* luck that I've had decent usage out of mine.

Well I had to buy the Inspiron, because it was in stock and available now. My MBP officially has no reliable wifi.

                  That sucks, on two counts!
