For me, the issue only existed on my Apple iPad 2. Every browser (Safari, Chrome and Dolphin) had the same issue. All I had to do was reboot and it fixed things in my case. Very odd.

@aaron-studer can fill in more details about his situation but he was able to correct the issue simply by removing / disabling Trend Micro AV scanning.

No issues here. Have you pinged @steve yet to get more info? He may know of something we don't.

I had / have this issue on my phone (nexus5 using chrome) it normally loads the content after about 30/40 seconds. Before that its just the header.

Wow, that is slow. Very weird.

                @akp982 That's quite bizarre.

@scottalanmiller It sounds like there could be a connection issue but not with him. Something with the body content is hanging somewhere.

On works 100mb connection and good wifi signal it still shows like attached for 5/10 seconds. So probably just my Internet at home too slow to load it any quicker. Screenshot_2014-03-11-13-36-59.png

I wasn't online at all yesterday (sickness nearly killed me) but I had had this happening to me since the beginning primarily on the default browser on my S4.

I'll try it surfing from there later today and see if it is still happening.

seen it on all my systems over the past few dyas, but a hard refresh has always fixed it...

I saw that too on mine.

Okay, here are @ann_marie details on her setup that isn't working: Sophos, Untangle, Windows 7, XP and OSX Mavericks.

That it is impacting all of those makes me think that Untangle is the issue in that case. I believe that @huw3481 had the same thing with Untangle.

I have this issue at a client site that has an old Firebox firewall with the transparent proxy in use doing content filtering.
You guys should enable HTTPS (even with a self signed cert for testing) to see if the problem disapears

Oh, that is a good idea. Sadly the platform does not support SSL at this time. Hopefully that gets added by the developers soon.

Why was a platform chosen that doesn't support SSL?

When is SSL normally a consideration? I don't imagine it is a major concern for a public forum where there is so private data. Even if were to be available it would not necessarily be expected to be implemented as that increases costs and lowers performance.

The platform was chosen on features and performance. NodeBB is really outstanding and under very active development. The head developer has even joined this community just yesterday!

Ambarish says that he is having issues accessing the page behind a SonicWall NSA 3500.

Whitelisting on the SonicWall fixed the issue.

This is not an option at all locations. But this does tell us that something in the system design is being blocked.
