Does it wake up no problem? I close the lid, the light on the front starts glowing off and on slowly like it always did for sleep mode. I open the lid back up after a few moments and the screen lights back up and asks for my password. How long you want me to leave it in standby?

@JaredBusch That is fine. Thanks for the detail.
-
@FATeknollogee my power settings for reference.
-
@JaredBusch Those are the same power settings I have.
I tried both suspend & hibernate, both were a no-go.
-
After chatting with the folks at Korora they suggest I file a bug at bugzilla.redhat.com

Okay, I signed in and then closed the lid. - Light was showing standby.
- I left it for about 45 minutes.
- opened lid.
- Keyboard lights came on but the screen did not come back up.
- Pressing keys does nothing.
- Pressing power button does nothing.
- hard power cycle required to power on.
So, seems to be the same issue.
