Maybe because this type of comment belongs more on a blog and not on a tech forum. Also, forums are much more about posting responses.
This is a social community, not solely technical.

So how old is everyone? C'mon, don't be shy.
I'm 42. I was 25 when I got my first IT Manager role for a massive US company. I was flying! My career was pretty good in my twenties. But not much happened in my thirties. I don't care as I got happier, had kids and stopped working so hard. Now my kids are growing up fast and are getting more independent, I'm starting to think I need another big push.

Nice. You're still pretty young then.

From what I can tell it's not much different, but expect to attend a lot more weddings. That's the only thing besides car insurance I can see on the horizon.

I'm used to it. People kind love me or hate me. It's always been that way.

@ajstringham I know how you feel. I'm 21, turning 22 in December. I've been here for almost 4 years now, and I'm still the youngest... however, I'm no longer the junior as far as responsibilities go
That said, I have a side-kick starting in December who will be just out of school, and I will no longer be the youngest person in the company. Yay!It's not just 'in my company' either - I went to a seminar for ERP software last week, I was a good 20 years younger than everyone else there. I just made sure to speak up, nod my head and show I knew what I was on about

@lillucia Enjoy being young hahaha.
