Got some lovely, leftover carnitas (twice cooked pork), hot flour tortillas, and some spicy salsa verde.

It's one of my favorite Mexican dishes, and it's how I judge a new Mexican restaurant... if they make carnitas well, everything else is likely great also.

Yeah, good system. I've been spoiled. A very good friend married a lady from Guadalahara Mexico, I got spoiled on home made carnitas till they moved out of the area.

I see the blood trail through the veggie patch, but where's the rabbit?

Haven't been able to take lunch yet. Not sure if I'm going to get to either. =( sad because I'm dreaming of a nice steak.

Got a whole warehouse full of steaks. What kind would you want? NY strips? Sirloin? T-Bone? I also have a professional kitchen at my disposal. How do you want it cooked? Sous vide? On the grill?

Porterhouse please, at least 2.5 inches thick, sous vide to 112F then sear properly on the grill, highest heat possible. Final temp should not exceed 123F. I'll PM you the delivery address.

Mmmmm, I'd go with a NY strip, medium rare. Can't say I've ever had it cooked via Sous vide before. I'd give that a shot!

Only in the US is bread dangerous. Here in Ukraine and in Europe in general, it is so healthy that you can eat it all of the time.

Croissants are better here than in Spain or Italy, by the way 🙂
