True... but I'll drink good coffee, just not for a pick me up. I need about 50x the amount of caffeine provided by drip coffee (which literally puts me right to sleep).
A good double espresso goes a long way.
8oz of drip coffee has 95mg of caffeine, vs 80mg for a double espresso. That kind of microdose of caffeine doesn't do shit for me but make me want to go back to bed. I have no idea how much caffeine is in my 8 day cold brew, but it's more like taking drugs than drinking coffee.

THe thing about espresso is that it's tiny. Sure it is strong, but it is SO small.

Take it from me, you don't want to drink much more than an expresso cup worth of that stuff at once, I was awake most of a weekend when I made my first batch.

Agreed, someone in Rochester should start a batch the week before the con, I'm sure a gallon or two would supply all of us with sufficient caffeine.

To be fair, the engine and drivetrain are electric. There's a serialized gas engine that runs to supply electricity to the engine when the batteries run dry. It's more electric than a Prius, which is one of the worst cars on the road.
