I can find enough change in my couch each month to run one of these.
An easy way to stop your couch stealing your money is to take your pants off before sitting on it.

I have used Digital Ocean earlier. Never know Vultr, but in ML. How they are ?
If it's $2.50, I can be a permanent customer of them.
And I hurry up to check in there website and tried to setup Trial one, I was not able to select $2.5 Server ,what's wrong ? Are they ended with offer ?

They are VERY good. We've moved nearly everything to them.

You do realize that this entire thread was an announcement of this fact, right? They are temporarily sold out due to high demand. That's what that means.

This assumes I wear pants normally.

Ahh, so I realized about this Pricing ($2.5) at the end
Hopefully, they will resume that pricing again soon.....

Is there anyone else providing with this range of Pricing ?

Nope. Linode is the same price structure but does not go as cheap.

Still sold out
Maybe there not coming back?

Perhaps, but they're still advertising it.
They seem to be reputable enough that they wouldn't stoop to the levels of the used car salesmen bait n switch but I'm only going by the feedback that I read.Unexpected popularity?
Either way, until you can buy it again or it's removed, uncertain the future is. -
If you're keen for more of that tier, keep hammering at their customer service reps for details/direction on it.

The Storage instances are also Sold Out

They were not long ago, as well. Then they added more and had a lot available. Then they sold out again. I think that Vultr is growing a lot faster than they had forecasted and they are struggling to get new hardware racked and stacked fast enough to handle the demand.

They are saying one to two weeks. If you go into their Storage VMs list and click on the location you want, they will offer to email you when more VMs are available.

As I feared:
Hello Aaron,
Thank you for your interest in our $2.50 'sandbox' plan. We do suggest that you consider our $5.00 plan (we recently doubled resources available at a cost of $0.007/hour).
Why is this awesome plan sold out? This boils down to supply and demand.
Will this offer ever return? Signs point to 'probably, someday' but definitely not within the days ahead. Think weeks/months from now instead. If/when this happens, availability will likely be limited. Please consider visiting/refreshing https://my.vultr.com/deploy periodically (requires valid account login).
Best Regards,
Katie

Wow, can't believe that they did it for such a short period of time. That was REALLY short. I get that it doesn't make a lot of financial sense for them, but it was unique and important, I think.

I think they were just overwhelmed by the demand for it and they did not have enough infrastructure to keep it up.
The $5 plans are still better though too.

Oh yeah, they didn't just offer $2.50 plans, they improved their entire lineup. In fact, other than one jump box in a sea of other systems, I didn't care to get any of those tiny systems. They are too small for my workloads, so I really didn't care. I like them for quick spin up, test and spin down systems, though. And I like knowing that they are there

I agree, I bet people just bought those in droves and caught them off-guard.
