Sitting Standing desk

@Dashrender I think it's the fact that they have so much more hardware to them. They have adjustable springs in them to balance the load they are carrying and they pivot and move up and down.
It's kind of like the difference between those cheap keyboard trays that just slide back and fourth and go off track all the time, vs the nice ones that slide and swivel and don't fall apart if your chair bumps them.
I would probably spend the money on the entire desk moving up and down, but if you are in a cube farm (that's where this was installed) you may not have that option.
Actually cube farms are easiest (generally) for a whole desktop replacement, remote the long desk panel and replace it wholesale with the electric desk - see @Minion-Queen new desk.
Sadly, that's not my situation. in my office we mostly have custom furniture with built in desks.
Thanks for the explanation.

This may be an option for you:

ETA: Holy crap-ola - Just saw that the $85 was the SHIPPING Cost... damn thing costs more than @minionqueen's new desk
They (as in that type with the keyboard tray) are horrid. the keyboard bounces as you type.

god - look how ugly that thing is!
Yea,.. I think the one @Minion-Queen suggested is better:
We have a few of theses (or very similar) at work. The lasses that use them seem to like them as they've been using the desks for at least 12 months

Looks like Monoprice has a few options:

I may have been getting interested in something like this myself the past few weeks. I don't know, glad I came across this thread. Gonna bookmark it for possible future needs.

The Victor having the monitor dual adjustment is pretty awesome. I figured that the placement of monitors sitting was different vs when standing.
I also love how his video is curiously missing ALL cables! Most of these types of videos are.
Holy crap! $199 for the dual monitor stand for the Varidesk - WTF? Unless it's the gas piston style like on the Victor, that's way to much. $40 or less for dual monitor stand on Amazon now.
-
@Ambarishrh those monitors are tooo low.

Another video which shows with cables connected/working machine
@JaredBusch Looks like the monitors can be adjusted too. check the video above

The Victor's separate monitor adjusting making this a VERY interesting product.. $370 or so.. not horrible.
Definitely worth considering. And not much more for a full standing/sitting desk versus piston only monitor stand that's adjustable.

I was interested until I saw this: "The DC350 dual monitor standing desk allows for two screens with a maximum width of 22” each (24” diagonal)."

Yeah, I can see how that's a problem for some, but not here. The bigger problem here is - do the monitors support VESA mounts?
