Sometime while I was travelling. No idea what did it. Did a GIT update and restarted the service, didn't fix anything. That was yesterday, I think.
Do a full nodebb restart sometime then.

@JaredBusch I first noticed it yesterday.

The unread counter seems to be working for me. Chrome, Windows 10 (don't get me started.)
-
FYI Unread alerts work on mobile.
Galaxy S6
-
Chrome here, not working either. Can't remember having seen it all week.
-
Works on Chrome on Android
-
May have missed this in a previous post, but it works on safari on iOS

Addendum: A 2nd tab in the same browser and the icon doesn't work anymore. Very, very weird.

I did not notice them this morning. but I been offline for a bit and I come back to see them.

Nothing here.

Just hit F5 and poof.
-
They weren't supposed to be there, you just got a momentary update where they had been enabled. You weren't supposed to know!

Actually, they are always there. If I shrink the window small enough to display the hamburger menu, they show there 100% of the time. Posted that somewhere in this thread or another once.

I get the unread count most of the time now but it never updates unless I actively refresh the page.
-
Look what came back for a while.
and then poofed again when I hit F5
-
So weird.
