      So the boss has offered to send me out for XenServer training, and in looking at a few of the options from Citrix Education the training seems to cover basics first.

      I'm sure there are some advanced courses as well.

      Does it make sense to start with the basics to have that certification first, and then go on wards?

          I mean, it would certainly be useful if only as a confirmation of what I know or what I think I know.

            Is there a cert for XS? I looked a bit ago and could only find ones for their XenDesktop and Xenapp products. I just thought they didnt have one for XenServer because it was free and they dont make money on it.

              Yes, and it would ensure that you didn't miss any of the basic stuff by accident.

                Unless the cert chain is designed to be picked up where ever.
